Democratic chairs in Gloucester and Camden Counties have not yet picked favored presidential candidates following U.S. Sen. Cory Booker’s withdrawal from the race.

“I just heard he dropped out this afternoon,” State Sen. Fred Madden, Gloucester County’s Democratic chairman, said.

Madden said he intended to call Booker’s campaign after the day’s voting session.

State Sen. Jim Beach, who is Democratic chairman in Camden County, followed a similar line, though he said he would have to discuss the matter with the county’s Democratic municipal chairs.
