State Treasurer Liz Muoio on Jerry Green

State Treasurer Elizabeth Maher Muoio issued a statement this morning on the death of Assemblyman Jerry Green:

“It is with deep sadness that I extend my condolences to the family of my former colleague, Assemblyman Jerry Green.  I got to know Jerry well while we were both serving as the chairs of our county committees and had the pleasure of working side-by-side with him in the Assembly.

He was a staunch ally in our fight to boost reentry services and eliminate lead from our housing stock.  More importantly, he was a fierce fighter for his Union County constituents and that attitude was often infectious.

He will be deeply missed in the halls of Trenton and my heartfelt sympathies go out to his family and friends.”
