Rice Tribute: Verlina Reynolds-Jackson

Assemblywoman Verlina Reynolds-Jackson released the following statement on the death of former State Sen. Ronald Rice:

“The State of New Jersey lost an icon and a legend today with the passing of Senator Ron Rice. Senator Rice was a friend, a teacher and a mentor to his fellow legislators. His advocacy for women in the political arena was immeasurable as was his support for the residents of New Jersey, particularly those residing in urban communities. His leadership, mentorship and kindness will be greatly missed. Job well done Senator Rice.”
