Mark Matsikoudis, the brother of former Jersey City corporation counsel and mayoral candidate Bill Matsikoudis, died on February 2 after a fight with cancer.  He was 68.

Joe McDevitt, a former Atlantic County Freeholder and current school board member in Ventnor and retired public school teacher, died on January 21.  He was 53.  McDevittt was the brother of labor leader Mike McDevitt.

Bob Betz, a former Jersey City councilman, died on January 30.  He was 70.   He won a Ward A council seat in 1981 and served a single four-year term.    From 1991 to 20090, Betz served on the New Providence Board of Education.

John Clark, a former political director for the NJ Regional Council of Carpenters, died on January 30.  He was 75.  Clark spent over 55 years as a member of Local #254.|

Frank Cuoco, a former administrator of the Essex County Department of Citizen Services, died on December 23, 2020.  He was 62.

Rev. Edward Conway, a minister who served one term as mayor of Eastampton, died on January 31.  He was 88.  Conway was a U.S. Navy veteran who was aboard the USS Wasp when it was sunk by an aircraft carrier hit it during the Korean War.

Paula Anne Mullaly, a former counsel to the New Jersey School Boards Association, died on January 26.  She was 70

Barry Osborn, a former treasurer of the New Jersey State Fireman’s Association and commissioner of the Herbertsville Fire Company, No. 1, died on January 29.

Barbara Eppinger, the mother of South River Council President Ray Eppinger, has died.

Jack Masculin, the father of former Middlesex County Republican freeholder candidate John Masculin, died on January 20.  He was 77.
