Edward Archer, a former Closter school board member who worked as a CBS News film and video editor for “60 Minutes,” died on August 15.  He was 83.  Archer was a U.S. Army veteran.

Maureen Majewski, a former Republican County Committeewoman from Weehawken, died on August 14. She was 83.

Mary Ramsdell, a longtime member of the Republican Women’s Club of Ridgewood, died on August 15.  She was 100.

Matthew DeMaria, who served as the attorney for the Elmwood Park Board of Education and Zoning Board, died on June 15.  He was 74.

Jane Schneider, the mother of Sayreville Councilwoman Donna Roberts, died on August 16.  She was 81.

Betty Lou Casey-Gernhardt, who played a major role in the political career of her late husband, Bordentown Mayor and IBEW Local 827 President Peter J. Casey, Jr., died on August 15 of complications related to COVID-19.  She was 86.
