Loretta Stominski, a longtime Monmouth County Republican committeewoman and activist, died on August 7. She was 80. She is survived by her husband, former Monmouth County Freeholder Edward Stominski.
Kenneth Anderson, a former member of the Willingboro Board of Education, died on January 26. He was 83. Anderson was a U.S. Army veteran and will be interned at The Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Wednesday.
Michael Carr, who worked for the U.S. Department of State in the 1970s, died on August 6. He was 67. At the State Department, Carr worked on the settlement of Indochinese refugees.
Edward Turner, a former Maurice River fire commissioner, died on August 6. He as 95. Turner served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
