Dick Greenhalgh, who served as the River Vale Municipal Court Judge for more than 48 years before is retirement in 2015, died on July 16. He was 96. He served as a River Vale councilman, attorney for the Board of Health, and was a World War II Army veteran.
Arthur Bronczyk, a former Federal Administrative Law Judge with the U.S. Social Security Administration, died on July 16. He was 87. As a federal prosecutor in the 1960s., Bronczyk was on a special task force aimed at enforcing civil rights legislation.
Shirley Capone, a 32-year Scotch Plains municipal employee who served several stints as interim Township Manager, died on July 16. She was 95.
