Former councilman, judge dies

Alfred Siss, Jr., a former Midland Park councilman and municipal court judge, passed away on October 23.  He was 73. Siss served on the council from 1976 to 1979 and was a judge from 1983 to 1987.

Carl Folz, a former president of the Maywood Republican Club, died on October 24.  He was 80.

Carol Keating, a former Flemington Republican Committeewoman, passed away on October 20.  She was 74.  She worked as a field representative for the Hunterdon County Office on Aging.

Joseph Padula, Jr., a retired Clifton police sergeant who later worked for the Passaic County Prosecutor until health issues forced his retirement at age 80, died on October 24.  He was 85.
