Adubato Tribute: LeRoy Jones, Jr.

Essex County Demcoratic Chairman LeRoy Jones, Jr. and his wife, Jacqueline,  issued the following statement on the death of Stephen Adubato, Sr.:

“The sun has set on one the most prolific political figures of modern time. Steve Adubato was the epitome of political genius. He was that quintessential strategist that for over generations built a dominant political empire in Newark’s North Ward, a foundation which stands proudly and secure today as when he set the first cornerstone years ago.”

“Steve’s strength was his political prowess, but the essence of his sole and spirit was his family. So to his beloved wife and life partner Fran, we pause at this time as we remember your great love today and always. Your loving marriage was a true inspiration to all.”

“So on this day of bereavement, we the Essex County Democratic Committee and our family extend our sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Matriarch of the Adubato family, the Honorable Fran Adubato, former and Chairlady Emeritus of the North Ward Democratic Committee and the entire Adubato Family.”
