Today is Phil Murphy’s 45th day in office. He attended his first New Jersey Chamber of Commerce congressional dinner in Washington as the Governor of New Jersey, where he doubled down on his commitment to pass a millionaire’s tax. That might set up a fight with the Democratic majority in the State Senate, so it was a risky and ballsy move.
(The New Jersey Globe will give Murphy a grade every day — either a check, a check plus, a check minus, or an incomplete. He’ll get a letter grade every week.)
