Gov. Phil Murphy again said he wouldn’t be leaving the state for a position in President-elect Joe Biden’s administration Monday.
“I have my dream job,” the governor said. “I’m not going anywhere, period.”
Murphy previously served as the U.S. ambassador to Germany in President Barack Obama’s administration. Joining the Biden’s staff would allow him to forgo a re-election race next year that’ll likely be made more difficult by a Democrat holding the presidency.
