The Murphys are getting vaccinated.

Gov. Phil Murphy and First Lady Tammy Murphy will get their shots at Atlantic City’s vaccine megasite Friday.

“I’m also pleased to announce that Tammy and I both went online yesterday, more Tammy than myself, and made our appointments to be vaccinated at the Atlantic City megasite this Friday,” the governor said at Wednesday’s virus briefing.

It’s not clear which vaccine they’ll receive.

The date coincides with the governor’s visit to the last of the state’s six vaccine megasites, a campaign meant to encourage New Jersey residents to get inoculated.

“We thought it would be a perfect opportunity to showcase a terrific location with, as I said, as I speak, as of this moment, with plenty of vaccine availability,” Murphy said.
