Gov. Phil Murphy has appointed Peter Calderone, a retired judge who served as state Commissioner of Labor in Gov. Christine Todd Whitman’s cabinet, to the New Jersey Civil Service Commission.
Calderone served as a judge of the New Jersey Worker’s Compensation Court from 1992 to 1994, and again from 1997 to 20015. He was the Assistant Commissioner for Appeals and Labor Relations at the New Jersey Civil Service Commission under Governors Brendan Byrne, Tom Kean and Him Florio.
Murphy also named Delores Ann Gorczyca of the International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers, AFL CIO, to the commission.
