Ahna O’Reilly has signed on to play Democratic strategist Julie Roginsky in Jay Roach’s upcoming movie about Roger Ailes and Fox News, according to a published report on Deadline Hollywood.

The film stars Nicole Kidman as Gretchen Carlson, Charlize Theron as Megyn Kelly and John Lithgow as Ailes.  The screenplay was written by Charles Randolph, who won an Oscar for The Big Short.

Roginsky, a veteran New Jersey political powerhouse and former Fox News TV personality, sued Fox for sexual harassment.  The case was settled last year.

O’Reilly has appeared in several films, including The Help, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and Jobs.
