Senate Majority Conference Leader Vin Gopal (D-Long Branch) and Edison Council President Robert Diehl will join host David Wildstein on the New Jersey Globe Power Hour on Talk Radio 77 WABC on Saturday, March 6 at 4 PM.
For the first time, Wildstein will speak about the connection of Bridgegate, a lane realignment at the George Washington Bridge in 2013 where he played a major role, and New Jersey’s mandatory minimum sentencing law.
Wildstein will talk about Gopal’s proposal to require parental notification for underage marijuana offenses.
Diehl will discuss a scandal in Edison over racist flyers in a 2017 local campaign and his request for law enforcement to step up their investigation.
Gopal was elected to represent Monmouth County in the Senate nearly four years ago when he topped a three-term Republican incumbent. He chairs the Senate Military and Veterans Affairs Committee.
Diehl is serving his seventh term on the Edison Township Council. Edison is New Jersey’s 5th largest municipality.
Wildstein is the editor of the New Jersey Globe.
