Danielle West-Augustin has been named as the new president of the New Jersey Public Charter Schools Association Board of Trustees.
She replaces Kyle Rosenkrans, who served as interim board president during the search.
West-Augustin is the CEO of Queen City Academy Charter School and has been involved in charter schools for more than two decades.
“Danielle is a tireless advocate for children in New Jersey,” the New Jersey Public Charter Schools Association president. “Her passion, commitment, and experience will allow NJPCSA to grow stronger as an advocacy and policy organization so that more families have access to excellent public charter schools.”
The organization represents 87 charter schools across the state that serve 60,000 students.
