The candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives in New Jersey’s 11th district — Democrat Mikie Sherrill and Republican Rosemary Becchi — will face-off tonight in a 9 PM debate sponsored by the New Jersey Globe.

Sherrill, a former U.S. Navy helicopter pilot and federal prosecutor, is seeking re-election to her second term in Congress.  Becchi is a former tax counsel to the U.S. Senate Finance Committee and staff attorney for the Internal Revenue Service.

The debate will be moderated by David Wildstein, the editor of the New Jersey Globe.

Immediately following the debate, four panelists — Morris County Republican Chair Laura Ali, New Jersey Democratic State Committee Executive Director Saily Avelenda, Assemblyman Brian Bergen (R-Denville) and Essex County Democratic Chairman LeRoy Jones — will join Wildstein for a post-debate analysis.
