Assemblyman Jay Webber (R-Morris Plains) has announced nearly 200 municipal leaders in his bid for the Republican nomination for Congress in New Jersey’s 11th district.

“In the next 35 days we will take our message of reducing taxes, protecting our rights, and keeping our communities safe to all 54 municipalities in the 11th Congressional District, and these community leaders will help us get the word out,” Webber said.  “I’m humbled by the outpouring of support I’ve seen from across the district, and as we knock doors, dial up phones, and spread our message at community events over the coming months, we look forward to welcoming even more supporters to our municipal leadership team and earning the support of New Jerseyans first in June, and then in November.”

The 200 municipal leasers is on top of Webber’s 130 endorsements from elected officials and party leaders.
