A campaign finance report filed by Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-Ewing) today reflects her support of Trenton Mayor Reed Gusciora for re-election in next month’s non-partisan municipal election.

Watson Coleman contributed $1,000 to Gusciora, who faces Robin Vaughn and Kathy McBride, both city council members, in his bid for a second term.  Watson Coleman and Gusciora were longtime running mates and served together in the State Assembly for seven teen years.

The four-term congresswoman has also written checks to city council candidates Teska Frisby, Tai Terry Wilson, Merle Cherry, and Jasi Edwards, who works as a senior constituent services representative on her district office staff.   She sent $10,000 to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

She has $287,355 cash-on-hand after raising $77,885 in the third quarter of 2022.

As of September 30, Watson Coleman had raised $790,941 this cycle and spent $642,752.

Watson Coleman is seeking re-election in New Jersey’s 12th district.  She faces Republican Darius Mayfield in a district that is favorable to Democrats.
