Rep. Frank Pallone, who would likely become chairman of the powerful House Energy and Commerce Committee if Democrats regain the House, has $1,563,481 cash-on-hand, according to a report filed with the Federal Election Commission.
Pallone raises $380,305 in the first quarter of 2018, and has brought in $1,379,086 so far this cycle.
Elected in a 1988 special election after 12-term Rep. Jim Howard died in office, Pallone faces conservative businessman Richard Pezzullo in the general election.
