Rep. Donald Norcross (D-Camden) has $1,596,978 cash-on-hand after raising $256,402 in the third quarter of 2022 as he seeks re-election to a sixth in New Jersey’s 1st district.

Norcross spent $1,185,898 in July, August and September, and $2,206,092 so far this cycle.  He’s raised $1,850,271 for his 2022 campaign.

He faces a rematch with Republican Claire Gustafson, a former Collingswood school board member, in next month’ mid-term elections.   In 2020, Norcross defeated Gustafson by 96,104 votes, 62.5%-37.5%.

An electrician , Norcross served as president of the South Jersey AFL-CIO, as co-chairman of the Camden County Democratic Committee, and as an assemblyman and state senator.  He went to Congress in a 2014 special election following the resignation of Rep. Rob Andrews (D-Haddon Heights).

Gustafson has not yet filed her Q3 campaign finance report with the Federal Election Commission.
