MacArthur owes himself $210k

By David Wildstein, April 14 2019 1:17 pm

Former Rep. Tom MacArthur (R-Toms River) has a campaign debt of $210,000 and just $4,055 in his campaign account.

MacArthur’s entire debt comes in the form of personal loans he made to his own campaign, according to his Federal Election Commission filing.

He lost his bid for a third term in Congress last year, narrowly losing to Democrat Andy Kim (D-Marlton).

MacArthur transferred $5,000 to his political action committee, TMAC PAC.  The PAC reported cash-on-hand of $5,430 at the end of 2018.
