Former Rep. Leonard Lance (R-Clinton Township) has $52,161 left over in his campaign account and is carrying no debt from his six campaigns for the U.S. House of Representatives, according to a report filed with the Federal Election Commission.
Democrat Tom Malinowski (D-Rocky Hill) defeated Lance by 16,200 votes in the 2018 Democratic wave.
The former five-term congressman contributed $5,000 to the Hunterdon County Republican Committee, and refunded $500 he had received from the Hudson County Republican party.
Lance transferred $5,000 to Americans for Republican Leadership, a political action committee he controls. The PAC had $9,142 cash-on-hand at the end of last year.
Last week, Lance told the New Jersey Globe that he would not seek a rematch with Malinowski next year.
