Seth Grossman is reporting $8,557 cash-on-hand and $18,047 in campaign debt following his unsuccessful bid for Congress in 2018, according to his first quarter filing with the Federal Election Commission.

The debt is owned to Grossman, who loaned his own money to his bid for an open House seat in New Jersey’s 2nd district.  The former Atlantic County freeholder lost to Democrat Jeff Van Drew (D-Dennis) by 19,819 votes, 53%-45%.

Grossman reported raising $8,909 during the first three months of 2019.  The campaign account of Cape May County freeholder Leonard Desiderio sent $500 to Grossman last month.
