Gottheimer up with new positive ad highlighting ‘Jersey Values’

By David Wildstein, October 23 2020 9:09 am

A new TV ad for Rep. Josh Gottheimer’s re-election campaign in New Jersey’s 5th district highlighting his willingness to work with both parties in Washington to protect his constituents.

The ad, “Jersey Values,” features the two-term congressman narrating his own ad as he talks about COVID, front line health care workers, first responders, small business, health care costs, lower taxes, veterans and preserving social security.

Script: “What are Jersey values? They’re about front line health care workers and our first responders saving lives during COVID.  That’s why I fought to make sure they had what they need to protect our families and help our small businesses save jobs.  Jersey values means getting things done – ahead of partisanship.  That’s why I work across the aisle to cut health care costs, lower taxes, and to protect social security and our veterans.  I work with Democrats and Republicans for one simple reason: I work for you.  I’m Josh Gottheimer, and I approved this message.”

Gottheimer faces Republican Frank Pallotta, a former investment banker, as he seeks re-election to a third term in Congress.

Gottheimer and Pallotta will face-off on Sunday night in a debate sponsored by the New Jersey Globe.
