A non-profit group run by national Democrats on Wednesday announced ads backing Rep. And Kim.

The ads fielded by House Majority Forward, a 501(c)(4) affiliated with the House Majority PAC, Congressional Democrats major super PAC, laud the chamber’s Democrats for passing a series of reforms and hit Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell for blocking the same.

“America’s families expect action from Congress on issues like prescription drug pricing and anti-corruption measures,” House Majority Forward executive director Abby Curran Horrell said. “It’s important for constituents to understand that members of the House are taking action to help America’s families, and Mitch McConnell is standing in the way of more affordable drug prices.”

The $2.2 million national ad buy includes digital and TV ads in 17 House districts.

The ad in New Jersey’s third congressional district highlights Kim’s vote on H.R. 3, a measure meant to lower prescription drug prices by allowing Medicare to negotiate costs.

A separate group, Patients for Affordable Drugs, began airing similar ads in Kim’s district on Monday.
