Though he’s spent much of his time campaigning in early primary states across the country, U.S. Sen. Cory Booker hasn’t forgotten about New Jersey’s legislative races.
The presidential candidate’s campaign work in New Jersey this year has come mostly in the form of robocalls.
He’s put out messages in the 21st, 25th, second and fifth legislative districts, as well as for countywide candidates in Bergen, Somerset, Monmouth and Sussex Counties.
He also has robocalls playing for local candidates in Neptune, Fredon and Fair Haven.
Booker has also recorded a video backing Democrats John Birkner and Gerald Falotico in the 39th legislative district. He grew up in Harrington Park, which is on the district.
The senator has deployed campaign staff in Union and Bergen counties, and he’s also sent a VBM mailer in Camden County.
